The Iron Horse is known for being some what of a community center, and a local party spot. All of our regulars are our greatest supporters and make the bar all that it is. If you have not been by recently come by and check us out.
Ever since the 1940's, when US 64 was a well known route to western areas of North Carolina, the predecessor to The Iron Horse, called the The Mill's Store, served local traveler's by selling much needed goods to local patrons and traveler's to and from the area. For a brief time it became 'The Something Else' store, then The Little Bar and finally The Iron Horse.
The Iron Horse earned a wonderful reputation as Apex's best biker friendly taverns. It continues to serve the bike community with atmosphere, ample parking, regular events and a staff you'll absolutely enjoy. The Iron Horse has a loyal following and we welcome you to join our family.

It doesn't matter if you
have a bike or what kind of bike you ride. We
don't care as long as you behave and play nice.
It's kinda like the song. We have Bikers,
Truckers, Cowboys, Factory workers,Young
people, Old people, Salesmen, Etc.
I could go on forever.
Its a great place to meet other people(Guys or
Girls) and make friends to go riding with or just
have a drink and maybe listen to some music.
We have a large back area for you to party in
and on Saturday and Sunday its usually covered with bikes.
Come on out and meet some new friends!
